Welcome to my blog!
I will never forget June 23rd, 2021, the day that marked the end of the most challenging year of my life as a teacher and a mother of three grown children. I bet not one person would disagree that the pandemic shifted our thinking, made us problem solvers, taught us resilience, and perhaps stimulated parts of our brain that have never been explored. Whatever you've been through, your story is important in cultivating your being, your mind, and preparing you even better for life. Keep that in mind.
There was no template for adjusting to the pandemic. Thinking back on how my kindergarteners survived their very first schooling experiences online, and how my daughters navigated their life still blows my mind!
There is no time to stop thinking about the best, most reasonable, and comfortable ways to raise our village. We must know that even if our ideas don't always work, they are all a part of the process of building our children today.
This blog, 'Teacher Mom Life' is dedicated to sharing conversations, ideas, and stories to inspire you, stir your mind, and help you to discover new ways to support our children. This is also a place for grown-ups to come together, learn about life, and feel empowered. While I don't have perfect solutions to fit every equation, I will share everything I can to include you in this journey.
So let's begin it, and I welcome you to the new chapter of my blog!
