Addition Word Problems’ for Kindergarten is aligned to the CCSS MATH K.0A.A.2.
Your students will have the opportunity to solve addition word problems and add within 10.
The first part of this download includes a color, cut, & glue activity. Students will cut out pictures to help them solve word problems. The pictures will be placed in a ten frame. This will increase their understanding of the addition concept.

The activity in the second part will help your students to examine word problems and discover techniques to help them solve the problems. They will identify the important parts of a word problem and focus on the questions asked. They will use drawings and a number line & grid to help them find the answers.
