‘Interactive Alphabet Notes’ was created to give your students the opportunity to learn the alphabet and increase letter recognition. It also gives your students the opportunity to create an interactive notebook while utilizing activities that are aligned to the Common Core standards. These activities can also be given after a whole-group lesson or as a literacy center.

After you have introduced your letter of the week, have students complete the interactive activities to include in their journal. I have also included a ‘letter portrait’ activity where they can reinforce what they’ve learned and had fun using art materials to express themselves.
